article description
Some recent scholarship on Kuhn emphasizes his unconscious contribution to logical positivism-a consequence of Kuhn's superficial knowledge and criticism of that school of thought. In this paper I argue against that thesis on the basis of an unpublished text: The Quest for Physical Theory (1951), his lectures at the Lowell Institute, and an early version of the point of view of The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.
