Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
The nanocrystalline semiconducting quantum dots have shown fantastic optoelectronic features. The establishment of nonradiative recombination of photogenerated charge carrier is the utmost difficulty to obtain laser from QDs. Therefore, it is essential to improve the optoelectronic gain or to optimize the optical loss. Here, Dy x Pb 1−x Se nanocrystalline QDs were synthesized using mercaptoproponic acid assisted colloidal approach to amplify the photonic gains and enhancing the quantum yield. The structure of the prepared Dy x Pb 1−x Se QDs using XRD revealed a cubic crystalline phase. The TEM images inspected the increase of their size from 3.3 nm to 9.4 nm upon the increase of Dy dopants. The bandgap decreased from 1.62 eV to 1.27 eV due to the formed sublevels by Dy atoms. The Pl spectrum demonstrated the photonic gain amplification where the PL intensity increased by 40 times with sharp spectral bandwidth. The quantum yield increased to 79%. The amplification of photonic gain and marvel quantum yield perhaps pave the way to use the Dy x Pb 1−x Se QDs as a potential candidate for optoelectronic devices.
