Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Simultaneous quantitative analysis of caffeic acid (CAFA) and uric acid (UA) in biological samples was carried out using a pencil graphite electrode (PGE) coated with a mixture of halloysite (a clay mineral) nanotubes (HNTs) and magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) nanoparticles. Surface morphology and electrochemical characterization of the sensor were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The sensor prepared has an effective surface area 1.75 times larger than that of the corresponding bare PGE electrode. Oxidation peak currents for CAFA and UA obtained by the sensor increased by 1.4 and 2.0 times, respectively, compared to the values found with bare PGE. Under the optimal conditions, linear working ranges for CAFA and UA were found in the ranges (0.027–70.0 µM) and (0.009–70.0 µM), respectively. The respective detection limits were 0.008 µM and 0.003 µM. The sensor developed was shown to be applicable to quantifying the analytes simultaneously in human serum and urine.
