article description
Salts of (2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)cyclopentadienyl (Cp ) group VI metal carbonyl anions ([M(CO) -(η -Cp )] (M = Cr, Mo, W)), important reagents for studies involving Cp , have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. These onions (M' = Mo, W) react with R SnCl (R = Ph, cyclohexyl) to provide structurally characterized tin(IV) derivatives. © 2005 American Chemical Society.
