Article Description

The bay-substitution of perylene diimide molecules with fused aromatic rings affects both the core structure and the aggregation properties. The photovoltaic performance of P3HT:perylene diimide solar cells show efficiencies twofold higher than the best result obtained in the literature for similar devices. © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
