Article Description

The negative ion formation in electron attachments condensed on a metallic substrate and a krypton intermediate layer were studied under different phase conditions. Fundamental information on the formation and evolution of negative ion resonances were also obtained using molecular beams. The results of the desorption spectrum showed that the low energy gas phase resonance for chlorine ions was strongly suppressed due to different relaxation probabilities in the initial cluster.
