Article Description

By examining the spatial dependence of the Raman heterodyne signals of nuclear coherent transients of Pr141 nuclei in Pr3+: LaF3 in the presence of a static magnetic field (100 Oe) we found evidence directly indicating that the crystal structure of LaF3 is D3d4(P3c1) twinned on a macroscopic scale. © 1988 The American Physical Society.
