Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
The charmed strange baryon Ξ was searched for in the decay channel Ξ → Ξπ, and the beauty strange baryon Ξ in the inclusive channel Ξ → ΞℓνX, using the 3.5 million hadronic Z events collected by the DELPHI experiment in the years 1992-1995. The Ξ was reconstructed through the decay Ξ → Λπ, using a constrained fit method for cascade decays. An iterative discriminant analysis was used for the Ξ and Ξ selection. The production rates were measured to be f ×BR(Ξ → Ξπ) = (4.7 ± 1.4(stat.) ± 1.1(syst.)) × 10 per hadronic Z decay, and BR(b → Ξ)×BR(Ξ → ΞℓX) = (3.0 ± 1.0(stat.) ± 0.3(syst.)) × 10 for each lepton species (electron or muon). The lifetime of the Ξ baryon was measured to be τ = 1.45(stat.) ± 0.13(syst.) ps. A combination with the previous DELPHI lifetime measurement gives τ = 1.48(stat.) ± 0.12(syst.) ps. © Springer-Verlag / Società Italiana di Fisica 2005.
