Metric Options: Counts1 Year3 YearSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
The development of visible light-sensitive photocatalytic materials is being investigated. In this study, the anatase and rutile-C composites were prepared by solution process. The characterization of the samples was conducted by using XRD, UV-vis, FT-IR, Raman, and TEM. The photocatalytic activity of the samples was evaluated by the decolorization of the methylene blue. From the results of the Raman, FT-IR, and XRD, the existence of the C was confirmed in the samples. The C was modified on the anatase or rutile particle as a cluster. The C didn't have the photocatalytic activity under UV and visible light. The anatase and rutile-C composites exhibited lower photocatalytic activity than the anatase and rutile under UV light. The anatase-C exhibited also lower activity than the anatase under visible light. On the other hand, the rutile-C exhibited higher activity than the rutile under visible light. It is considered that the photogenerated electrons can transfer from the C to the rutile under visible light irradiation. Copyright © 2012 Ken-ichi Katsumata et al.
