Article Description
The article presents the results of research into the tourism space of a borderland gmina preceded by a summary of the specific tourism development conditions in the eastern part of Podlaskie Województwo. The nature of the tourism space enabled the identifica-tion of spatial units (tourism zones) within the gmina area. The area occupied by the differing tourism subspaces and individual tourism zones allowed the author to draw conclusions regarding the development of tourism space.
