Article Description

This article discusses the diagnostic value of ceruloplasmin (a transport form of copper in the blood) in acute glomerulonephritis with nephrotic syndrome in children. The characteristic features of nephrotic syndrome in children with acute glomerulonephritis, the use of ceruloplasmin in the diagnosis process are analyzed. The necessity of using copper-containing drugs in the complex treatment of nephrotic syndrome has been identified and substantiated.
