Review Description
Klebsiella pneumonia is an encapsulated bacillus,gram negative bacteria, non-motile,found in the environment and linked with pneumonia in patients with diabetes mellitus and alcohol as disorder. Its high risk of virulence and antibiotic resistance. Which belonges to family Enterobacteriaceae and it has many virulence factors to overcome from killing by host defence. The bacterium colonised in human mucosal surface of the oropharynx and gastrointestinal (GI). The Klebsiella pneumonia isolated from a patient with severe anemia by swab from oral cavity and tongue.It was diagnosed and antibiotic resistance determined using a device VITEC and showed its resistance to many antibiotics and cause of hospital acquired pneumonia.
