Article Description

An earlier onset of puberty and the medical discourse about precocious puberty spread by a social alarm disseminated by press screamers, web sites and media: childhood is shorter and shorter, and physical signs demonstrate it. This social trajectory whose development stages cling to age and abnormality, risk exposure and precocious sexuality shows the propensity of medicine to freeze a labile and unstable process in a medical category.
