artifact description
This multi-year evaluation of the New Economy Initiative for Southeast Michigan : 1) Developed a baseline assessment frame work from which to measure the impact of NEI-funded activities on an annual basis; 2) Established a monitoring system that traced the effectiveness of NEI-funded initiatives in achieving its short-term and intermediate-term goals; 3) Constructed a monitoring system with timely data that can be updated frequently with minimum time lags; 4) Developed a system in full cooperation with the existing and future grantees; and 5) Generated regular and timely progress reports to NEI and, when appropriate, to the public in a user-friendly manner.
