Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
O objetivo foi analisar os impactos da escolha da licença na dinâmica de desenvolvimento de projetos de software livre, isto é, na evolução do aplicativo. Um fator-chave para o sucesso de um projeto de software livre é a sua dinâmica de desenvolvimento, dependente da atração e retenção de usuários e desenvolvedores. A licença desempenha um papel importante nesse cenário, pois, ao impor restrições ao uso do código fonte, atrai de modo distinto os possíveis colaboradores. Foram relacionados o grau de restrição da licença e um indicador de sucesso de softwares livres: o tempo entre estágios, ou seja, o tempo despendido para evoluir pelos vários estágios de desenvolvimento. Os resultados indicaram que projetos licenciados sob termos não restritivos avançam mais rapidamente do que projetos licenciados sob termos altamente restritivos e que projetos com licenças restritivas avançam de modo mais lento do que projetos com licenças não restritivas ou altamente restritivas.
