Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Thesis / Dissertation Description
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is a technology that brings television viewing from one point to any place using the internet. Most IPTV like Slingbox and SlingCatcher have accesses that are subscriber-based which provides users video streaming capabilities from a video source to their Internet-enabled devices. However, there are problems with the access of multiple input sources such as inputs coming from two different sources like television and DVD players. An approach to improve the capabilities of such technology is to evaluate the system by studying the underlying technology and architecture and deriving solutions to enhance the performance of the technology. In relation to the system evaluation, different streaming codecs are considered and are evaluated to apply such suitable codecs in the solution. In addition, studying different kinds of network distribution method are considered in finding the network distribution method that is most suited in video transmission. In solution, the system aims to implement an embedded system that allows video sharing with multiple video inputs and multiple users using multicast distribution method.
