Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Thesis / Dissertation Description
The area of material handling presents various opportunities for automation. From material transport to sorting to storage, the benefits of automation may well give a company the competitive edge. Of all the material handling functions, material storage has shown the least advancement. The subject of this research is a student prototype of an Automated Storage/Retrieval System (AS/RS). This computer controlled system uses a mechanical loader to transport materials to or from their storage compartments. The basically the AS/RS is composed of the storage rack, and a Storage/Retrieval (S/R) machine. The rack itself can hold up to twelve individual loads each weighing 40 kgs. The S/R machine is capable an actual horizontal speed of 44 ft./min and a vertical speed at 45 ft./min. The system is controlled by an IBM PC/AT compatible via direct access to its parallel port.
