This letter, dated May 17, 1951, from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross to United States (US) Senator Usher Burdick informs Burdick that the Secretary of the Interior approved the tribal resolution of April 13, 1951 and Cross is headed to Washington, D.C. to work with the tribal lawyer on the legal interpretation the resolution.
