Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Although runtime validation and verification are critical for ensuring reliability in autonomic software, research in these areas continues to lag behind other aspects of system development. Few researchers have tackled the problem of testing autonomic software at runtime, and the current state-of-the-art only addresses localized validation of self-adaptive changes. Such approaches fall short because they cannot reveal faults which may occur at different levels of the system. In this paper, we describe an approach that enables system-wide runtime testing of behavioral adaptations in autonomic software. Our approach applies a dependency-based test order strategy at runtime to facilitate integration and system-level regression testing in autonomic software. Since validation occurs on-line during system operations, we perform testing as part of a safe approach to adaptation. To investigate the feasibility of our approach, we apply it to an autonomic communication virtual machine. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
