Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.

Artifact Description
This project, submitted by Heidi Gray and Lauren Cartwright, consists of research findings related to the topic of blood specimen hemolysis within the emergency department. Hemolysis, or the destruction of red blood cells, is a growing concern throughout EDs, and nurses should be educated on ways to reduce it. These strategies can include method of blood draw, supplies used, and the use of a hospital's pneumatic tube system. Reducing blood hemolysis will effectively lead to the lessening of nurse frustration and an increase in patient satisfaction.
