Article Description
Les femmes vivant avec le VIH connaissent un écart entre les genres en matière de bien-être aux États-Unis, et les femmes de couleur sont particulièrement vulnérables à cet écart. Pour y remédier, l'intervention Solution Focused Wellness for HIV (SFWH) pour les femmes a été créée. Dans ce document, nous présentons les résultats quantitatifs de la dernière étude pilote SFWH. L'intervention de groupe en sept séances a été proposée à (N=14) femmes vivant avec le VIH afin d'en évaluer l'efficacité. Les résultats ont montré que l'intervention était associée à des améliorations multidimensionnelles significatives du bien-être entre la base de référence et le suivi de cinq semaines. Le nombre de CD4 et la charge virale des participantes n'ont pas changé de manière significative. Afin d'améliorer l'accès à l'intervention et d'accroître la rétention des soins liés au VIH dans la communauté, d'autres adaptations du programme SFWH sont prévues.
