Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
During the filming of the movie Rust in October 2021, actor Alec Baldwin “was holding an antique Colt .45 . . . when the prop gun discharged a live bullet.” The bullet struck cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza, resulting in the death of Hutchins. While many individuals postulated that other crew members were at fault, on February 15, 2022, the Hutchins family named Baldwin in a wrongful death lawsuit alleging “fail[ure] to perform industry standard safety checks and follow basic gun safety rules while using real guns.” The complaint also argues that but for Baldwin’s reckless behavior, “Hutchins would be alive and well, hugging her husband and nine-year old son.” Requested damages include compensatory damages, punitive damages, and funeral and burial expenses among other things. This post was originally published on the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal website on April 4,2022.
