Sexuality and the Body: Dr. Kevin Diller, Angie Grandlienard, Jon Cavanagh

Sexuality and the Body chapels feature members of the Taylor Community sharing their thoughts, stories, and experiences.Kevin Diller ’93 (PhD, University of St Andrews) is associate professor of philosophy and religion at Taylor University. He holds graduate degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and Calvin Theological Seminary, and completed postdoctoral work at the University of Notre Dame. He has written numerous journal articles and in 2014 published a monograph with InterVarsity Press entitled Theology’s Epistemological Dilemma. He lives in Upland, Indiana with his wife and four children where he enjoys reading out loud and bouncing on a trampoline.Angela Grandlienard graduated from Huntington University in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2002 where she studied Christian Ministry, Psychology and Intercultural Studies. Angie has served in different ministry, higher education and mental health settings and is currently serving as a therapist at Taylor University. She and her husband, Jason, live in Marion, Indiana and have two kids.Jon is a 1998 Taylor University alumnus and has served at Taylor since 2007, filling roles that have included Director of University Apartments/Coordinator of Off Campus Community, Co-Chair of Residence Life Programming, Hall Director at Wengatz Hall, Head Men’s Golf Coach, and committee assignments including Chair and member of the Community Life Committee, Lighthouse and J-term Capstone Co-Leader, and the leadership of various devotional groups. Jon began his new role as Taylor's Campus Pastor on June 1 of this year. In addition to his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Taylor, Jon holds a Master of Divinity from Winebrenner Theological Seminary, Findlay, Ohio (2008). He is an ordained minister in the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (N.A.C.C.C.). Jon and his wife Kara are the parents of a 5-year-old daughter, Phoebe.
