Four new 3D coordination polymers containing cadmium and 1,2,4-triazole (trz), [Cd 3 (trz) 5 (NO 3 )(H 2 O)](H 2 O) 0.866 ( 1 ): space group C 2/ c, a = 19.6971(9) Å, b = 17.3615(8) Å, c = 13.8979(6) Å, β = 90.9010(10)°; [Cd 2 (trz) 2 (oxalato)] ( 2 ): space group Pnna, a = 10.1681(8) Å, b = 13.5490(11) Å, c = 8.4116(7) Å, [Cd 6 (trz) 10 (NO 3 ) 2 (EtOH)(H 2 O)](H 2 O) ( 3 ): space group Cmc 2 1, a = 10.2454(7) Å, b = 33.542(2) Å, c = 13.4739(9) Å; and [Cd 4 (trz) 2 (oxalato) 3 ] ( 4 ): space group Cmca, a = 7.3616(8) Å, b = 13.2834(14) Å, c = 17.4096(19) Å, have been synthesized solvothermally and structurally characterized. Structures 2 and 4 are mixed-ligand frameworks in which the oxalate ligands were synthesized in situ.
