Image Description

Since 1988, Lunchables has been turning a profit for Kraft's shareholders, raking in $25 million a year. This is due to their convenience factor for parents, and eye-catching candy and beverages for kids. While all Lunchables are not created equal, many of them share common nutritional drawbacks. When establishing Lunchables, the team behind these known lunch boxes didn't follow any nutrition guidelines. The boxes are deficient in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy and little to no vitamins; which kids don't consume a notable amount of anyway. So the question might be what is really inside of Lunchables? Has Kraft Foods benefited at the expense of our children's health? What exactly are we feeding our kids?
