Letter Description
This handwritten letter, dated September 6, 1943, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong from where he is stationed in North Africa, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter describes the living conditions and weather in North Africa. The letter goes on to inquire after health and remind her how much he loves and misses her. The letter is written on U. S. O. (United Service Organizations) stationary with the U. S. O. Shield logo in the upper left corner. The envelope is postmarked U. S. Army A. P. O., September 6, 1943.
