artifact description
Graduate students today find themselves at the fore of a rapidly changing academic landscape. The proliferation of new publishing models can present challenges as students try to identify reputable journals in which to publish. Also, now that theses and dissertations are openly available electronically, students should seek to make informed decisions about whether their work needs to be embargoed for a time or not, and if so, for how long. In this session we will discuss some of the ways that students are adapting to these changes, and we will discuss ways that the libraries and the campus community can help to prepare students to thrive through the rest of their time on campus and beyond.
