article description
This essay is presented from the point of view of an archaeologist and ancient historian and is primarily a statement of concern for the integrity of knowledge about ancient cultures and specifically about the geography and culture of the region once known as Dardania, which lay in part within the boundaries of the modern Republic of Macedonia. The focus here is mainly on Dardania as a subdivision of the Roman Province of Upper Moesia and the Late Antique province of Dardania.
