conference paper description
The Geriatrics Champions Program was created to build interprofessional collaboration in geriatric care amongst family medicine residents, advanced practice nursing, pharmacy and social work students utilizing a Team-Based Learning format. During this session we will discuss the principles employed with creating and executing this successful program. We will engage the audience to stimulate thought, identify opportunities, discuss potential challenges and share successful strategies to develop interprofessional coursework at their institution.
