Creative analytical practice Ethnography FL AssessmentThrough CAP (creative analytical practice) this presentation explains how to do ethnographic research, in a foreign language course combining Community Service Learning (CSL) and Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) with the objective of assessing student’s intercultural competence. Milton Bennett’s Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS) can be use in the assessment of student intercultural competence. This model proposes stages along a continuum of human reactions to cultural difference, provides educators a useful framework for assessing the development of cultural sensitivity
