The invalid feeder was used to feed those who were unable to feed themselves. A liquid or semi-soft food was placed in the feeder and the long narrow spout was then placed in the person's mouth. This invalid feeder is made from White porcelain and was produced in Germany. It is stamped with the number 3617 on the bottom.
