We analyze the advection of massless particles carried by a high viscosity fluid set in motion in a long channel of rectangular cross section and covered by an infinite plate moving at constant velocity. In the limit of zero Reynolds number this creeping flow can be solved analytically. Our solution differs from the classical analytical solution of the unwound single-screw extruder with respect to the cross-sectional flow. In particular, we find a stagnant elliptical point. We analyze distributive mixing by calculating the time evolution of Renyi entropies for the minor component.
