01067Box 356 Portage May 9th 1882Dear JohnI have waited a long time for some response to my lst letter, if you have wrote to me since January – the letter must have been miscarried – as none has been received. I hop you and family are all enjoying good health. Are you devoting your time now to home affairs – I see by the N. papers that the “Corwin” has again sailed for the “Polar Regions” I feel glad to think you are not with her\ Perhaps you will be able
