image description
my bedside before I was up, for I hadnt expected them till Monday or Tuesday.I am feeling fine. This is a beautiful day and the air is grand. The larks and the blackbirds are singing. The young trees, and the plants Wanda sent seem fresh and in good condition, so I think they will grow.I am sending a clipping that Mr Lukens sent to you a few days ago, about the redwoods on Tamalpais. Another honor for you.No 3 is late today so I couldnt mail this at noon, but I hope you will get it before you start back so you will know all is well with us, and that we are careful about everything.Your loving daughterHelen Muir
