Two major themes describe current research regarding memory rehabilitation. The first entails modifying technology to help individuals with memory impairments learn to accommodate their loss. The second involves exploring ways learning can be improved. Recently, a great deal of attention has been paid to error less learning as an innovative therapy technique applied to improve learning in a variety of populations. Instead of instructing by demonstration, or trial-and-error, the therapist should present correct information using methods in a manner that minimizes the possibility of an incorrect response. This paper explores this new technique.
