Citation Benchmarking is provided by Scopus and SciVal and is different from the metrics context provided by PlumX Metrics.

RESUMO Analisando o trabalho de Mathieu Pernot, percebe-se a ambiguidade da fotografia que se encontra na fronteira entre arte e documento. A simplicidade no enquadramento, a claridade da iluminação, a serialização, a montagem, bem como a impessoalidade das imagens de Pernot, assinalam a contradição interminável entre o que é acessível pela visão e o que se segmenta no olhar. Seus trabalhos sugerem uma imagem de contato, sem a recusa da compatibilidade entre a representação simbólica e a marca indicial, o vestígio do mundo e o sintoma da experiência. O documento torna-se impossível posto que ele dá acesso não ao passado tal qual ele foi, mas à experiência da cisão do tempo como potência do presente.
