Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Article Description
Pluronic F127 nanoparticles were loaded with citronella essential oil (CEO) and then covered with chitosan-sodium alginate polyelectrolyte complex (PEC). The system was characterized according to size, zeta potential and stability over time. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) in different proportions of water/ethanol as a dispersive medium was important in confirming that PEC covered the F127 nanoparticles. Infrared spectroscopy also indicated interaction of F127 with PEC. The nanoparticle size evaluated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) corroborated the value observed in DLS (hydrodynamic radius (R) range of 100-200 nm). Encapsulation efficiency of 80% for CEO was determined by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The release profile of the CEO was evaluated in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) containing 20% of ethanol and in simulated sweat fluid, achieving 74 and 81%, respectively. The releasing mechanism fitted the Korsmeyer-Peppas mathematical model, indicating Fickian diffusion behavior for both studied media.
