Article Description
Resumen Con base en una sistematización de investigaciones sobre los homicidios seguidos del suicidio del autor, este artículo repasa las principales teorías utilizadas por la literatura criminológica para explicar los homicidios de mujeres en el marco de la pareja o la expareja en los que el autor se suicida. Aunque no provienen del feminismo académico, estos aportes ubican al control, la propiedad sexual y la construcción de la masculinidad como categorías analíticas centrales. Por tanto, elaboran explicaciones que pueden ser retomadas desde un abordaje feminista para conceptualizar estos incidentes como femicidios íntimos-suicidios y profundizar en sus mecanismos causales.
