Article Description
RESUMEN: Partiendo de la teoría decolonial de Walter Mignolo y del concepto de latsploitation, este artículo explora cómo las películas de Sarli y Bó desafían los estándares eurocentristas y representan identidades marcadas por una herida colonial. Gracias a esta lectura es posible destacar el carácter político de las producciones de Bó y Sarli, pese a haber sido considerado un cine comercial de entretenimiento. Al analizar la postura decolonial en los films de Isabel Sarli y Armando Bó, el artículo concluye la necesidad de desafiar y cuestionar el tajante binarismo entre cine comercial y cine político. Este estudio busca contribuir a una comprensión más amplia del cine de Bó y Sarli, y su papel en la resistencia cultural contra la colonialidad.
