thesis / dissertation description
Flor del Monte is a small town in the middle of the Montes de María, only three hours by road from Cartagena. Its inhabitants, farmers of the area, are trying to profit with small stores to continue building their lives despite poverty and the victims of violence. It is a small place in Ovejas, Sucre. This was the scene of the peace process between the government of César Gaviria and the guerrilla CRS, Corriente de Renovación Socialista, in 1994.
