thesis / dissertation description
The interest of this case of study is to conduct an analysis of the most relevant challenges that faced Pope Benedict XVI during his pontificate. With the arrival of Joseph Ratzinger the Vatican generated a change in the perception of the international community towards the papacy and that perception took other shades as it develops the pontificate, with the response of Benedict XVI to the challenges that he faced as interreligious dialogue, which had previously been working his predecessor John Paul II and the issue of pedophilia, which was responsible for uncovering after having been for years a taboo inconceivable to uncover for the Catholic Church.
