Book Chapter Description

Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is a benign condition with unknown etiology. They may be solitary or multiple and most commonly occur on the head and neck. Treatment options include surgical excision, cryosurgery, intralesional corticosteroids or chemotherapy, oral retinoids, photodynamic therapy, pulsed dye or ND:YAG laser, imiquimod, electrodessication, radiotherapy and pentoxifylline. Treatment with cryosurgery is reviewed.
