Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Book Chapter Description
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a drastic change in the provision of health care worldwide. Adult patients with congenital heart disease (ACHD) by definition have underlying cardiovascular disease, which could potentially make them more vulnerable in case of COVID-19 disease. The role of the ACHD nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic is demanding, and nurses should be educated regarding new guidelines and recommendations related to COVID-19 disease in terms of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. Nurses, as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, play a central role in the patient education and empowerment, counselling regarding preventive measures, necessary examinations and procedures during the pandemic, as well as provide an indispensable care and support to patients afflicted with COVID-19 disease. The nursing role in the care of ACHD patients with COVID-19 infection goes beyond direct patient health care and includes also coordination, organization of service and contact with family members, all in order to provide the best overall support to the patient together with all members of the multidisciplinary ACHD team.
