In today’s fast-paced business environment, the effective management of human resources relies increasingly on the utilization of technology. The integration of technology has sparked a transformation in Human Resource Management (HRM) practices, leading organizations worldwide to adopt Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). These systems offer a wide range of functionalities, from basic data storage and communication to complex transactions, enabling HR departments to efficiently acquire, store, manipulate, analyze, retrieve, and distribute vital information regarding the workforce. The authors focus on the implementation of a HRIS with a Performance Management module in OTP Bank Romania, analyzing how the introduction of the HRIS platform with the Performance Management Module has completely transformed the relationship between employees and the company in terms of individual and group performance.
