Conference Paper Description
This paper explores the effect of customs strategies on environmental and sustainable responsibility of Jordanian supply chain management. A quantitative approach using Smart PLS4 were conducted. A quantitative approach was used based on survey design; where Smart PLS4 were used to analyzed the data that collected from 206 specialists from Jordan's customs as respondents using questionnaires based on 5-point Likert scale. The result indicates that customs strategies positively affect Sustainable and Environmental Responsibility. In addition, Sustainability practices mediates this effect in Jordanian SCM. Future directions for research include investigating long-term effects, carrying out analyses tailored to a particular sector, comprehending stakeholder viewpoints, utilizing innovation and technology, analyzing socioeconomic influences, accepting cross-cultural perspectives, creating strong performance measurement frameworks, and investigating circular economy strategies. Organizations working within Jordanian supply chains may positively influence the environment, society, and economy by emphasizing the adoption of sustainable practices and realizing their mediating effect, this could help to create a more sustainable future. However, the findings of this paper add to the increasing corpus of research emphasizing the vital role that customs strategies play in encouraging sustainable environmental and responsibility of supply chains.
