Book Chapter Description
The purpose of the article is to verify the offered hypothesis and to study the banking system tools in the sphere of joint crises fighting in Russia and Europe. Methodological instrumentarium of the research is based on the use of the method of regression and correlation analysis. The authors perform the analysis of dynamics of banking system development in the conditions of the recent financial crisis and in post-crisis period, evaluate influence of the banking system on Russian and European economies’ crises fighting, and determine the role of the banking system at various stages of the economic cycle in the context of financial crisis. The key authors’ conclusion of the performed research is the fact that, as modern crises are of the financial nature, the tools of their overcoming should relate to the financial sphere—in particular, to the banking system.
