Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Book Chapter Description
In this chapter we present an overview of what is known today about the reactivity of Ca with different species, both from the theoretical and the experimental points of view. We have paid particular attention to the bonding characteristics of Ca complexes and to the electron density re-distribution undergone by the neutral interacting with this doubly charged metal, due to the quite intense electric field around it, which results sometimes in, dramatic polarization effects. Another important question is related with the stability of Ca complexes in the gas phase, in clear contrast with the instability of analogous complexes involving other metal dications, such as Cu or Pb, which only produce singly charged species when interacting with neutral bases. The last part of this chapter will be devoted to review the different combined experimental and theoretical studies of several reactions involving Ca. This survey will include a comparison of the reactivity exhibited by Ca with respect to the reactivity shown by other divalent metal ions, as well as some preliminary results of the reaction of Ca with uracil. Particular attention will be also paid to the catalytic effect of Ca in the tautomeric process of these kinds of biochemical compounds.
