Metric Options: CountsSelecting the 1-year or 3-year option will change the metrics count to percentiles, illustrating how an article or review compares to other articles or reviews within the selected time period in the same journal. Selecting the 1-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year. Selecting the 3-year option compares the metrics against other articles/reviews that were also published in the same calendar year plus the two years prior.
Example: if you select the 1-year option for an article published in 2019 and a metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019. If you select the 3-year option for the same article published in 2019 and the metric category shows 90%, that means that the article or review is performing better than 90% of the other articles/reviews published in that journal in 2019, 2018 and 2017.

Conference Paper Description
It is impossible to forecast long-range lightning due to sharp and instantaneous lightning strike when compared to other weather conditions. However, it is possible to have a system that can predict the occurrence of lightning for over a small duration, say few minutes or few hours that will be useful for protection of disasters, such as lost of life or major costlier equipment. Atmospheric Electric field, Rain intensity, Temperature, Pressure, Wind speed and Humidity etc., are the good predictors of lightning. According to annual lightning report 2020–2021, 96% of lightning death cases are recorded in rural area as compared to urban areas. The proposed LoRa-based weather and lightning alert systems using IoT are developed to alert the rural population by the way of announcement, siren, voice call, WhatsApp, SMS and Mobile Apps about serious Weather and lightning conditions. Presently, this system is deployed in only few districts of our country. The developed system can be deployed in other states of our country to save people of rural areas from disasters due to lightning. This low cost system can also be used by Smart phone users to monitor weather and lightning information using IoT and Cloud platform.
