Article Description

1. In the epididymis of dogs the karyoplasm of the epithelial cells contains 3 different types of karyosomes which are regarded as being the fore-runners of the well known inclusion bodies. 2. An extrusion of nuclear inclusion bodies into the endoplasmic reticulum is demonstrated. 3. It is shown, that within the karyoplasm there are occasionally rather large vacuoles, crystalloids and fat droplets. 4. The findings are indicative of a particularly vivid and complex nuclear metabolism. © 1965 Springer-Verlag.
