Article Description
In fatal cases of intoxication by E 605 (Parathion) the vessels of the human ovary, arteries, capillaries and veins, are extremely enlarged, especially around the Graafian follicle. The necrosis of granulosa cells and cells of the cumulus oviger are related to direct, the necrosis of cells in the corona radiata and of the oocyte to indirect effect of the poison. © 1966 Springer-Verlag.
